At CNTA we work to take the concepts of food quality and safety to the required levels in an effort to digitalise the agro-food sector.
We develop knowledge in real-time data capture technologies: sensors and monitoring systems for parameters linked to the quality and safety of the raw materials and processed food products. To do this, we perform research in adapting sensor and monitoring devices at the different food matrices, assessing their functionality (levels of detection, discrimination and repeatability compared to conventional methods). We collaborate with the manufacturers of these devices in projects to develop new devices or applications of them.
