“Nutrition for a healthy, accessible and affordable childhood”
The aim of the project is to generate knowledge and improve healthy food supplies for children over 3-12 years old addressing both main supply channel: school and home. The project is focus on investigation and developing solutions for the critical detected points taking into consideration socioeconomic factors and focusing in results transference. Thus will be facilitate to the population in order to increase the impact.
To get success, due the special behavior of objective population, children will take part of the process and will be recognized as strategic partners to minimize the real tension between nutrition standards and real intake. Therefore, attractive meals developing, knowing their preferences, the preference way of cooking and the knowledge of other factors which interfere in their preferences, are basic tools to project development.
