“Nanoencapsulated metabolites as a low-efficiency solution of natural bioactive compounds on obesity and associated comorbidities”.
Coordinator: Universidad de Navarra (UNAV).
Participant: Centro Nacional de Tecnología y Seguridad Alimentaria (CNTA).
The aim of the project is to generate a proof of concept that allows using some of the metabolites generated by the colon microbiota from polyphenols described in the literature in (nano) encapsulated form to improve their absorption, limit variability in their bioavailability and avoid secondary metabolic modifications that may decrease its effectiveness.
”This project has been funded by the Government of Navarre via the calling for Grants for Technology Centres and Research Bodies and the diffusion of knowledge to undertake R&D projects 2019”
