Proteins are essential nutrients in a balanced diet, which implies the need to promote the production and use of plant-based proteins for their:

Lower production cost

Less environmental impact

 Beneficial impact on health

In addition, the European Commission is hugely interested in the promotion of plant based protein growth and oilseeds, so as to curb the adverse effects of climate change

To enable new business opportunities for the agri-food industry and meet consumer demands, it is necessary to face the following challenges:

Costumer acceptance 

Provision of enough raw materials


For this, it is proposed:

Develop innovative products in different food matrices

Develop a supply chain of vegetable protein in Navarra
