“Development and validation of a device to detect Salmonella nucleases in food”.
Collaborative project:
Objective: Development of a rapid analysis system for Salmonella spp., in food matrices.
Advantage of this new analysis system:
– Speed (<8h)
– Simplicity (avoiding laborious processes)
– Reduced cost (compared to existing offer)
– Possibility to be used in portable and/or disposable format
The new device is based on the use of nucleic acid probes specific to nucleases produced by Salmonella that were already successfully selected and validated in a previous project.

“This project has been funded by the Government of Navarre via the calling for Grants for Technology Centres and Research Bodies and the diffusion of knowledge to undertake R&D projects 2018”
